The City of Oshkosh is home to a multitude of live music, special events and festivals. One of the prime venues to feature that music, those events and festivals is the Leach Amphitheater. The flagship activity for the Leach is the Thursday night "rock" concert series, Waterfest. For 23 years Waterfest has hosted (both in Riverside Park and at the Leach) over 300 bands and entertainers. Included have been the likes of the BoDeans, Alice Cooper, Gin Blossoms, Sonny Landreth, America, Little Feat, Poco, 38 Special, the Iguanas, Three Dog Night, Little River Band, just to name a few. The amphitheater is also home to the Oshkosh Half-Marathon, the Jaycees Brews N' Blues Fest and Dragon Boat Races - it is also a fantastic place for weddings!
The staff of the Leach is excited to announce the introduction of a new festival, the Oshkosh Irish Fest, plus the GE Oil and Gas "Live at the Leach" Performance Series. Also, the first annual Oshkosh Family Festival will be held on August 16th - the fest will feature a performance by the nationally touring Golden Dragon Acrobats of China.
The Leach Amphitheater is located in Riverside Park, in downtown Oshkosh, along the historic Fox River. The venue includes state-of-the-art buildings and stage, ample parking, and can accommodate over 7,000 visitors. The experience for anyone that uses or visits the beautifully landscaped Leach is nothing but "exceptional".
